Chris Glandt joins Visa Lighting
Visa Lighting is pleased to announce that Christopher Glandt, LC, has joined Visa Lighting as Product Engineer on our innovations team. As the newest member of Visa Lighting’s Design Team, Chris is an integral contributor to new product offerings and will support custom business opportunities. “We are excited to bring Chris to Visa Lighting, his vision, abilities and experience are a perfect fit for the Visa Lighting Design Team,” states VP of Sales and Marketing, Jimalee Dakin. “Visa Lighting continues to build on a robust product development team as a catalyst for growth in spite of current economic conditions and Chris Glandt’s lighting experience will allow him to make an immediate impact.” With five years of progressive engineering experience in the lighting industry, Chris served as technical advisor, researcher, and developer for a variety of lighting product lines. He managed research and testing laboratory capabilities and certification processes. Chris comes to Visa Lighting from Phoenix Products where he was the Technical Engineering Manager. Chris has his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison and recently acquired Lighting Certified status. He is the Treasurer and serves on the Education Committee for the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America-Milwaukee Chapter. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Optical Society of America.
