Harley Davidson Museum

Harley Davidson Museum Grand Opening Weekend

The Harley Davidson Museum opened to the public July 12 & 13 with a "Black T" event.  The ceremonies began at 10am Saturday and didn't end until 8pm Sunday night.  Rounding out the weekend festivities were museum tours, tattoo artistry, food and beverages along with entertainment provided by local bands.

The museum, designed as a celebration of the company’s rich history and passion of Harley riders, is located in Milwaukee, WI on a 20 acre downtown tract. The Harley Davidson Museum campus hosts a restaurant, café, retail store and plenty of room for indoor/outdoor events.

Visa Lighting is on display with a custom "tailpipe" pendant designed and built for the museum. The aesthetic concept of a tailpipe with bologna cut is perforated to allow a soft ambient glow of light.  Complementing the industrial architecture of the museum, the pendant mimics components of the motorcycles on display.   Visa’s custom "tailpipe" fixtures are located throughout the museum and outdoor at the entry.
