A Drum Ceiling Light, Made by Hand
Riff takes the popular drum ceiling light shape and creates a fresh modern interpretation.
The simple, drum silhouette is created with thin, artfully-rolled aluminum. This metal shade is fitted with a contoured inner reflector hand-spun by our skilled crafts-people. As a result, Riff’s concave inner spinning beautifully juxtaposes the crisp, straight-sided outer fixture housing.
Beautiful Glare-Free LED Light Output
Rather than utilize exposed lamping, Riff relies on a flat, acrylic diffuser that sits over the LED sources. Riff's LED diffuser was optimized to reduce glare and create the most comfortable light. A test setup was built where the LEDs could be moved around until they lit up the acrylic evenly without any hot-spot or uncomfortable glare often seen in drum ceiling lights.
Multiple Drum Pendant Sizes and Options
This high-performance downlight pendant is offered in 16, 24 and 32 inch diameters. Choose between light output temperatures 2700K, 3000K, 3500K or 4000K with a 90CRI option. This drum pendant is easy to hang with integral LED driver-in-canopy.
Riff's simple lines and smooth, curved underside can also become a canvas for a pop of color. Designers can create a color story by selecting any two of our more than 25 painted finishes or alternative metal finishes.
