Visa Lighting, the most recognized US brand in performance decorative lighting, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Glandt to Research and Development Manager.
“In this role, Chris will manage the Research and Development department, whose responsibilities include fixture aesthetic design, solid state (LED) lighting, optical design, electrical and electronic engineering, and research into new technologies and systems that will become new products over the next 5 years and beyond,” says Wayne C. Oldenburg, CEO of Visa Lighting.
Glandt’s group will be working closely with the Sales and Marketing departments to define product scope and specifications, and with the Product Engineering department to provide technical guidance and system architectures for new product releases.
