Visa Lighting Recognized as Next Generation Luminaires Winner - Escape

MILWAUKEE, WI - Visa Lighting's new Escape fixture has been recognized as a winner of the 2010 Next Generation Luminaires Design competition for Indoor - Decorative Wall Lighting. Only 33 entrants were recognized out of the 140 reviewed. 

The Escape is part of Visa Lighting's new Mystique Collection of architecturally integrated LED Wall Luminaires. Visa Lighting is committed to providing thoughtful, reliable and inspiring LED solutions. This collection furthers Visa Lighting's aim to create products that are sustainable, easy to specify and budget friendly.

The Escape is a classic performance piece revisited for both interior and exterior applications. Featuring a slimmer format that fits discreetly into today's architectural designs, it's created for indirect and direct lighting applications. Escape is a low energy LED luminaire with option OV-10V LED dimming. The Escape is available as a surface mount unit. Multiple units can be interfaced with a single power supply and class II wiring.   

    To simplify installation, the Mystique Collection was created with input from contractors. Two remote power supply units are available for the Mystique Collection.  Remote power supplies have an integral plenum compatible connection box with terminal blocks to connect multiple class II cables. Mystique models use terminal blocks or crimp connectors for class II cable termination. For convenience, wiring supplies are available through Visa Lighting.

Visa Lighting was recognized in the Indoor Wall Washing category in 2009, winning with the Advantus Linear LED. 

The Next Generation Luminaires is jointly organized by the Illuminating Engineering Society, the International Association of Lighting Designers and the U.S. Department of Energy, represented by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
